I don't know about you but I love protective styling. When you get tried of your wash'n go and want a slightly different look , its fun to mix it up with a twist out. Lately I haven't been doing twist outs because they have been taking too long to dry. All my natural girls know the struggle the next morning after you undo your twist out and your twists are not dry. You worked all night and then you take them down hoping that your twists are poppin then they turn out wet and limp, its so frustrating! Because I have really thick hair wet twist outs are proving to be a bit of a challenge. Now I know I'm late to jump on the dry twist out bandwagon but I always thought that my twists wouldn't be as defined when they are dry. I am so glad that I was proven wrong. Some of you may know that Glamtwinz334 from youtube are probably my favorite youtube guru's. So when Kelsey posted her Updated Twistout Tutorial I was too excited to try it out. Now, I've never been good at three strand twist like my blogging counterpart so when I saw Kelsey's simple twist out that anyone could do, I couldn't wait to share it with all of you.

My results are above. The picture on the left is what my hair looks like after I was done twisting and my picture on the right is when I took it out the following morning. I did the exact same method as Kelsey does in the video. The only thing I did different was I used the Shea Moisture's Curl Smoothie to define my twists on my dry hair instead of the Carol's Daughters Styling Butter that Kelsey did and I also used foam rollers instead of my perm rods. After doing this style the only thing I would do differently would be to curl my ends tighter to achieve the bouncy curly look instead of a wavy look and I would also do my twists chunkier instead of so small. Overall I was really happy with my results. I will definitely do this style again and update you on my results! Hopefully this is helpful to you guys especially girls who are new to being natural. This twist out is so simple and very cute so for my new naturalista's its perfect! Please leave comments or a picture below if you try out this style, I would love to see it!
